New breakfast menu

I have been using this new egg product (new to me) from Costco, its eggs in a cartons, that are 90% egg whites, but still has 10% yolks so they look just like eggs and taste just like eggs but only 30 calories per 1/4 cup. Which is like the size of a regular egg. So for example, my breakfast this am at work, is an omelet with a bit of onion, spinach, zucchini(homegrown I might add) and bell peppers . I cook it the night before, wrap it in foil and the bring it to work. I then warm it and top it with salsa. Yum! Less than 300 calories easy and its a lot to eat. I like eating breakfast because I walk at my lunch break. When I come back from walking I drink my HMR shakes.  TOM is really kicking my bootie today.. ugh! Advil time.

I think I hate TOM. All of us ladies should just "unfriend" him... how do we do that??? LOL

What is an HMR shake?

LOL- TOM is a jerk. HMR is the weightloss program I am on. They are protein shakes but used as a meal replacement. I love it.

Sounds like a great lunch, I use egg beaters and make omelets with veggies all the time. they are so yummy and easy!

Those are the eggs that I eat almost every morning, the ones from Costco. I think they are great!

That sounds like a great alternative to eggs. Never tried it. But would be good for my hubby who has some hearth health issues. Love the fact you have homegrown veggies. Are garden is just starting to really take off. Have another great week with STS!

I never knew TOM's name until last month, but I agree. De friend him. I use the cheapest eggs and toss out the yolks. I need to figure out how I can not be so wasteful, but the yolks would probably make something way tempting. When you sprinkle some Saizon Mexican seasoning into the whites they look yellow like real eggs. Fitcetera has a mean quiche that she makes and a recipe. Gonna try it next grocery round.

I usually mix one whole egg with four or five egg whites for a big omelet before a race - full of veggies, soooo good! And I agree with everyone else ... down with TOM!!! I never used to have bad PMS and cravings until I started getting healthier ... maybe because I overindulged all the time.
