Post 200- Wow. Ok it is war now!

Last night at my weigh in at 4:00pm it said 244lb. I am so not going to let this biotch of a scale beat me down.  I think I am not drinking enough.  This weekend was prom so nice and exhausting for me the worrisome mom. Went to my daughters (hi ash)while I waited for my son on Saturday. I was hungry, she said let's go get something to eat. I said, I don't eat fast food. :(.  I come home later, husband had gone out and got fast food for his dinner. He said I got you a chicken burrito. Per him he thought that would be the lowest in calorie.  But, I said I dont eat fast food....... I made my own meal. So I thought I was doing well.
But noooooooooo. So I need to kick it up a notch on my fluids. I think my calories are doing well. I mean, its one thing not to lose, but to gain is another... I am frustrated and mad as heck!

So this week, I am going to make sure I start tracking my fluids better.

I weigh in the mornings--right after using the bathroom--and with no clothes on. It always gives me a much better number! :) You go get that scale!!

I've notice a huge difference when I drink a lot of water. The numbers are always better first thing in the morning.

Aww, to your Hubby. It was a sweet gesture, too bad they are so clueless sometimes.

You WILL be rewarded for your good choices! And what an awesome job to make your own meal, even when something else was right there for you. You are committed, girl! The timing will come out, yes - get up your fluids but DO NOT go into negative self talk! You have nothing but praise to give yourself. :)

Wow, you turned down fast food twice! I am in awe of your strength!

I have trouble drinking enough water myself, I'm working on it. My scale is kind of standing the same right now.

But you're doing great, keep going!

I feel like when you're eating well but the scale isn't giving you credit that it will catch up soon. Just keep doing the right stuff and the reward will come!

The only "fast food" we get is Chipotle. Primal-friendly fare, several kinds of meats, salads, salsa, guac. Basic stuff I like and I get to dictate how much and of what. I like that. I can't remember the last time we did a drive-through type of place. Um...no...um..nope. Maybe not since last year???

I only weigh after I wake up, pee/poo, and I'm naked on that scale, with nothing in my hair and no jewelry. Well, I'm not counting stuff like wedding ring. ; )

I don't weigh if I ate or drank anything. Period. Consistency matters.

If I don't sleep well or sleep enough or know I had too much salt, it's best to stay OFF the scale.

Hope you find out what the issue is...

BTW, for a few days, keep a thermometer by your bedside. Put it in your armpit after you wake up but BEFORE you get up or move around (if possible, anyway). See what the tempterature is for several days running. It's one way to check if your metabolism tanked.

I used to be very NOT warm, 97 point something. Once, I was 96 point something. I havent' done it in a while (have been losing, so..), but it is one way to see.

It prolly is just fluid recalibrating in there...
