Boil water, add one pound of pasta of your choice. Heat tomato sauce in seperate bowl. Cook pasta until Al dente, serve with sauce, throw out that scary looking thing...
Pattypan squash. You can cook it like any other squash or zucchini. Roasted, boiled with onions, salt/pepper, some folks stuff 'em, etc.
